Lauren Dyck, Registered Physiotherapist, Certified Level 1 and 2 Kinesiotape Provider

Lauren completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2009, where she gained comprehensive knowledge in anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics. During this time, she was the head Sports therapist of the McMaster Men's Volleyball team, and accompanied them to National and International tournaments in Canada and the U.S. She graduated with High Distinction and a declared minor in Psychology and Human Behaviour studies.

Lauren continued her education by completing her Master's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2011, and graduated as class Valedictorian. Dedicated to furthering her manual and manipulative skills, Lauren is presently working towards her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, and is also a certified Level 1 and 2 Kinesiotape provider.

While Lauren has experience treating patients with a variety of orthopedic problems, she specializes in working with endurance and multi-sport athletes. Her treatment style is based on several key cornerstones - a commitment to ensuring people excel to reach their goals in all aspects of their physical endeavours; proper and informative treatment of injuries that arise from common over- and underuse movement patterns; and an emphasis on developing a solid core foundation by which our arms and legs work from. She utilizes creative strengthening techniques to continually challenge the core in a variety of ways.

An avid triathlete herself, Lauren is heavily involved in road and tri biking, long distance running, swimming, core, TRX, and strength training.
